Engineering Analysis Manager Zeno is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Analysis Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting the development and deployment of Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS). This role is responsible for managing analysts across structural, thermal, and nuclear disciplines, ensuring high-quality technical output in support of mission-critical programs. In this role you will: <ul><li>Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and oversight to a team of mechanical and nuclear analysts, ensuring high-quality, timely, and technically rigorous analysis deliverables.</li><li>Review and provide feedback on structural, thermal, and nuclear analysis work, maintaining strong engineering standards while balancing program schedules and priorities.</li><li>Manage team workload and resource allocation across multiple projects, aligning analysis priorities with program and company needs.</li><li>Support the professional development of team members through regular coaching, feedback, goal setting, and performance development conversations.</li><li>Partner closely with mechanical design, systems engineering, materials, and program management teams to ensure analysis efforts support integrated product development.</li><li>Serve as a technical escalation point, helping guide analysis approaches, assumptions, and modeling strategies.</li><li>Identify, implement, and continuously improve analysis workflows, tools, documentation practices, and knowledge-sharing across the team.</li><li>Communicate team progress, technical risks, and resource needs to senior leadership; represent the analysis team in cross-functional technical and programmatic discussions.</li><li>Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture aligned with Zeno’s values and engineering rigor.</li><li>Report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, providing regular updates on team performance, project status, and technical risks.</li></ul> Key Qualifications and Skills <ul><li>B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a closely related field with a strong emphasis on engineering analysis.</li><li>8+ years of professional engineering experience in mechanical, thermal, structural, or nuclear analysis.</li><li>3+ years of management experience.</li><li>Strong foundation in engineering analysis methods, with deep expertise in at least one domain (structural, thermal, or nuclear); experience with FEA-based analysis is strongly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with multidisciplinary analysis environments and the ability to effectively oversee work outside one’s primary technical specialty.</li><li>Experience performing engineering work under AS9100, NQA-1, or similar quality standard.</li><li>Ability to identify technical risks, define bounding cases, and guide teams toward practical, defensible engineering solutions.</li><li>Demonstrated initiative and ability to lead technical efforts, mentor peers, and drive work to completion in ambiguous or evolving environments.</li><li>Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and competing demands.</li><li>Interest in developing leadership skills and supporting the growth and success of others.</li><li>Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and proactively improving processes and team effectiveness.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership.</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, program management, quality, and operations teams.</li></ul> Job Functions <ul><li>Position requires in-office presence in Seattle (South Lake Union) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays</li><li>Travel: Travel is required, &lt;10%</li><li>Motor Abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands)</li><li>Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 15 pounds</li><li>Repetitive work: Prolonged</li><li>Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work</li><li>Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of &gt;8 hrs./day</li></ul> Compensation and Benefits The anticipated salary band for this position is $175,000 - $210,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
