<h3><span>Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses—including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior—to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.</span></h3><div><span>Uplight is seeking a </span><span>Technical Project Manager</span><span> to be responsible for executing and delivering projects for our utility clients, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>How you will make an impact:</span></div><div><span>The Technical Project Manager will join our Delivery team and lead cross-functional projects.&nbsp; You will be working closely with our client and partners to help ensure that each project scope is successfully delivered, in a timely manner - ensuring customers are able to actualize the full value of their solution.&nbsp; As a Technical Project Manager you will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, Account Management, and Support to deliver and advocate for our customers.&nbsp;</span></div><div><span>Successful Technical Project Managers have a solid understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall methodologies applied to client facing implementations.&nbsp; As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll be proficient in managing the project scope, tracking progress, identifying and managing risks, maintaining an accurate schedule, and effectively communicating with clients. You should be comfortable with escalating both internally and externally.&nbsp; This role requires someone who is extremely well organized, able to understand technical concepts, and skilled at crafting key messaging into a digestible format for customers.&nbsp; Technical Project Managers must develop a good understanding of Uplight products and solutions in order to effectively deliver value for clients.</span></div><div><span>This role will report to the Manager, Implementation, and will work primarily on North American Client accounts.</span></div><div><span>What you will contribute:</span></div><ul><li><div><span>Project Execution: Adhere to and reinforce project management best practices and standard operating procedures. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any deviations from the project plan. Proactively communicate project updates both to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.&nbsp;</span></div></li><li><div><span>Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate or address them. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Communication: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and other communication forums as needed.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Contract Management: Manage contracts and vendor relationships as needed for project success. Ensure that all contractual obligations for the project are met.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with project requirements.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Issue Resolution: Identify and address issues that arise during the project, making decisions and adjustments to keep the project on track.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring effective collaboration. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. Manage accurate epic and story creation and progress, tracking to deliverables, and/or committed deadlines.</span></div></li><li><div><span>Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management.&nbsp;</span></div></li><li><div><span>Project Launch &amp; Closure: Ensure proper project closure by finalizing deliverables, conducting post-project evaluations, and documenting lessons learned for future projects.
