Timmons Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager with a proven seller/doer mindset to lead our growing Data Center practice. This is a high-impact leadership role for an entrepreneurial engineer who thrives on building client relationships, winning work, and delivering exceptional projects.As a key leader, you will:<ul><li>Drive business development efforts and expand our strong client base.</li><li>Manage and grow client relationships while ensuring successful project delivery.</li><li>Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.</li><li>Position our Data Center practice for continued growth and innovation. </li></ul>Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Lead civil engineering design for data center projects using Civil 3D and related software.</li><li>Oversee project execution, including design details, plan sets, and technical calculations.</li><li>Prepare specifications and cost estimates, review plans, plats, and construction documents.</li><li>Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service.</li><li>Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple concurrent projects.</li><li>Support proposal development, marketing efforts, and strategic pursuits.</li><li>Mentor and supervise technical staff, promoting professional growth and accountability.</li></ul>Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.</li><li>10+ years of experience in civil site design with strong knowledge of state/local regulations.</li><li>Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.</li><li>Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and deliver projects on time.</li><li>Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.</li></ul>
