We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.The role:We are looking for a Project Manager that will lead the project management of biological treatment projects, assuring adherence to the Water Infrastructure processes and procedures and ensuring the process and equipment in our scope of supply meet the specification and the client’s satisfaction, while optimizing our financial performance.Principal responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for all commercial aspects of the project and some technical aspects.  </li><li>Managing production of design deliverables such as datasheets, drawings, Material submittal documents by internal and external suppliers.</li><li>Review specifications and drawings and/or directing engineering resources to undertake reviews to ensure that scope is implemented in line with best practice and with the contract specification.</li><li>Working with (internal and external) suppliers to obtain quotations, place orders, fulfil contracts, including activities such as FATs.</li><li>Maintain and improve contract margins</li><li>Produce, maintain and review project schedules</li><li>Regularly report on project progress and performance</li><li>Attend client meetings as needed</li><li>Attend site as and when project necessitates</li><li>Ensure that all work carried out complies with established Company policies and procedures/Code of Conduct.</li><li>Adhere to company processes, quality standards, and company safety programs</li><li>Accountable for adhering to project document control processes and to ensure project files are complete for future reference.</li><li>To undertake any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customer needs.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering</li><li>+6 years of experience in project management</li><li>Experience and knowledge of water treatment (or similar) processes and equipment and work experience of a progressively responsible nature in projects involving process equipment.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls and Construction work processes.</li><li>Full professional proficiency in English is required; any other language will be considered a plus</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Good communication skills </li><li>Ability to work in a matrix organization</li><li>Time management </li></ul>Location: MadridContract: Full-time, PermanentBenefits: Life and Medical insuranceJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
