As a Microwave Engineer, you will be a key part of Reach’s RF engineering team and develop state of the art systems that are integral to Reach’s wireless power beaming capability. Your technical know-how and innovation skills are key to designing cutting edge products in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute to design, simulation and implementation of power amplifiers and other components and subsystems at microwave frequencies. As an engineer in a small company, you will have a great deal of agency over your work, plenty of opportunity to discover and solve new challenges, and the ability to make large-impact decisions.</span></div><br><br><h3>Key Position Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Contribute to the design, simulation and implementation of distributed-element components.</li><li>Contribute to the integration with antenna, and antenna arrays.</li><li>Design and implement high efficiency power amplifiers at high frequency from 5GHz to 24GHz.</li><li>Drive the investigation, study, and introduction of new components and subsystems.</li><li>Collaborate with PM/Mechanical/RF/EE teams for system level design, integration and testing.</li><li>Collaborate with other engineers to perform system bring up, troubleshooting and system test.</li><li style="list-style-type:revert;">Product design documentation using Reach PLM system.</li><li style="list-style-type:revert;">Support certification and regulatory testing. Support field testing.</li><li style="list-style-type:revert;">Write validation test plans for mmWave components and system level evaluation.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li style="list-style-type:revert;">MS degree in electrical or RF engineering (PhD preferred).</li><li>10+ years of experience as a microwave engineer or equivalent.</li><li style="list-style-type:revert;">Expert with EM simulation software (HFSS and HFSS SBR+), CST, and circuit simulation tools, such as Keysight ADS.</li><li style="list-style-type:revert;">Hands on experience using spectrum analyzer, VNA, signal generator, oscilloscope, and logic analyzer.</li><li>Fluent with PCB layout techniques for distributed-element components implementation.</li><li>Experience is developing hardware and testing for some or all of the following: Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi, RF to DC power conversion.</li><li>Hands on experience debugging in the lab.
