The business was launched in March 2025 on a highly innovative Franchising business model, and within 4 months outpaced OVO’s best ever monthly solar sales. By the end of 2027, the unit is expected to be one of the largest solar &amp; heat pump installation companies in the UK. This role in a nutshell:As a Content &amp; Brand Manager,  you’ll level-up how OVO Solar &amp; Heating presents itself to customers - clearly, credibly and at scale. This is a 12-month contract role and reports directly to the Head of Revenue. Your key outcomes will be:Brand &amp; narrative ownership<ul><li>Refine our UVPs and ensure they’re clear across all customer touchpoints (e.g. website, email comms, quote pack, marketing campaigns, etc.) - make them bold, engaging and consistent</li><li>Hold the pen on our comms plan - what we talk about, when and where - including seasonal campaigns, channel strategy, etc.</li></ul>Content strategy to drive growth<ul><li>Define the strategy for how we use content to drive growth</li><li>Create engaging content for chosen channels</li><li>Run activity across selected channels e.g. Meta, Youtube, LinkedIn, Blogs etc. </li><li>Longer term, deliver larger campaigns + stunts with the wider OVO energy</li></ul>Asset building to support growth initiatives<ul><li>Support content creation (visual + written word) for marketing campaigns, partnerships, and digital collateral across the Revenue, Product, Tech &amp; Operations teams</li></ul>Facilitate Franchisees to do local marketing well<ul><li>Maintain a playbook for what “good” looks like in local marketing</li><li>Provide templates, guidance, and guardrails for franchisees</li><li>Act as an advisor and sounding board for local teams</li><li>Monitor quality and ensure compliance with contractual terms</li></ul> A successful Content &amp; Brand Manager at OVO…<ul><li>Pragmatic, resourceful and fast-moving - happy to operate in an ambiguous environment and make judgement calls</li><li>Delivery focused - biased toward shipping complete, usable outputs, not just ideas or drafts.</li><li>Customer-first mindset - optimise content for clarity, customer understanding, and commercial impact</li><li>Enabler by default, enforcer by exception — support, unblock and accelerate in almost all cases, only policing where there is clear and significant risk</li><li>Demonstrable experience in fast moving start-up environments (ideally B2C)</li><li>Content creation capability, producing high-quality written and visually appealing assets (e.g. ad banners, customer comms, social posts, website copy, etc.)</li><li>Experience executing multi-channel marketing initiatives, with the judgement to prioritise the channels and messages that drive commercial impact</li><li>Comfortable operating as an individual contributor working across multiple stakeholders (e.g. internal teams, franchisees, product, etc.)</li></ul> Let’s talk about what’s in it for you:We’ll pay you between £55,000 - £65,000, depending on your specific skills and experience.We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us, and you, flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.You’ll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%.
