The Senior Accountant is responsible for fixed Assets and Lease month-end close accounting responsibilities and Divisional month-end close responsibilities.   This includes preparing financial statements, preparing account reconciliations and analysis, monitor monthly accruals, and support internal and external audits.Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):<ul><li>Assist with the month-end close process including the creation of journal entries and account reconciliations for multiple site locations.</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements for facilities and discuss/present results to facility managers/management.</li><li>Prepare account reconciliations and analysis for various general ledger accounts.</li><li>Prepare and monitor monthly accruals.</li><li>Support external and internal audits.</li><li>Produce various reports for management.</li><li>Assist with SOX compliance.</li><li>Responsible for the monthly preparation of Divisions Fixed Asset and Lease Accounting including reporting, month-end entries, and confirmation controls.</li><li>Track and report capital spending by project.</li><li>Perform other reasonably related tasks assigned by management.</li></ul>
