Where a resolution cannot be found then you would be expected to escalate accordingly. </li><li>By IT support we refer to multiple proficiencies, such as but not limited to:  </li><li>End users and their equipment. For example, PC’s and Laptops running a Microsoft Windows environment </li><li>Printer installation, networking, configuration, and troubleshooting </li><li>An array of Microsoft applications such as Office, Visio, Project etc. </li><li>Ensure compliance of and react to information from Enterprise Anti-Virus and other security tools.   </li><li>Mobiles phones (iPhone &amp; Android) </li><li>Servers, switches, and wireless access points in conjunction with a remote Infrastructure team. </li><li>New user configuration and setup via Active Directory </li><li>Troubleshooting issues that the IT Service Desk have not been able to resolve remotely.  </li><li>Liaising with hardware and software vendors to resolve and related issues. </li><li>Support and maintenance of conference room equipment such as video conferencing systems, conference phones etc.   </li><li>Acting as a “point of contact” for day-to-day IT support. Not all incidents will arrive with you via a ticketing platform. The role requires somebody dynamic who can work effectively on the fly responding to requests from multiple angles and subsequently prioritizing workload to achieve the required outcome. </li><li>Remote IT support for travelling users; usually delivered using remote tools s </li><li>Maintain the onsite server room in line with enterprise standards.  </li><li>Maintain the outlying comms racks throughout the facility.  </li><li>Manage and maintain OU’s within Active Directory including users, groups and objects.  </li></ul>Desirable Attributes <ul><li>At least 5 years IT support experience, </li><li>Experience using an incident management system, such as ServiceNOW.  </li><li>Experience in a Team Leader or Manager role. </li><li>Somebody who can think for themselves and work to ambiguous frameworks. Not everything within this support role will come with an instruction manual, our ideal person is somebody who can think outside of the box and progress situations on their own merit. </li><li>A solid and robust understanding of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
