The role mission is to standardize, execute and continuously improve FP&amp;A and R2R activities, such as forecasting, reporting, cost controlling, operational accounting and data validation, ensuring consistency, transparency and reliability across the organization.Operating as a central Centre of Excellence, Controlling Services partners with Business Areas, Business Units and Group/Function teams to deliver harmonized processes, shared tools and automation‑driven efficiencies. This model strengthens governance, enhances planning and reporting quality, and enables controllers across the company to spend more time on business sparring, value creation and strategic financial management.As a Controller, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Operate as Finance business partner for Business Area/Business Unit entity or group function   </li><li>Lead or support controlling and financial reporting processes for entity/function in scope of responsibility</li><li>Own and ensure efficient and accurate closing, analysis and reporting related activities for the entity/ function</li><li>Contribute and drive efficient and accurate forecasting and budgeting process in entity/ function</li><li>Represent entity/function for requests from other Finance Operations processes Record to Report (RtR), Purchase to Pay (PtP), Order to Cash (OtC)</li><li>Ensure Stora Enso Finance processes and policies are implemented and applied in entity/ function</li><li>Proactively find opportunities, suggest actions and drive change to continuously improve and harmonize end-to-end controlling processes</li><li>Drive and contribute to process automation and other development projects</li><li>Ensure close co-operation and communication with entity/ function and key stakeholders in Finance and other functions</li><li>Support and train stakeholders in controlling related matters</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul><li>Education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (economy high school diploma/university degree)</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in controlling, management reporting or accounting</li><li>Good understanding of controlling processes (entity closing and operative financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting)</li><li>Good knowledge of controlling tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Excel, SAP, OneStream, Power BI)</li><li>Experience of driving process improvements and harmonization</li><li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail</li><li>Ability to operate in a matrix organization in international environment</li><li>Good communication skills and business-oriented mindset</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken)</li></ul> What do we offer? By joining us, you will be part of our diverse working culture, supporting you to explore new perspectives and develop professionally.
