In this role, you will:<ul><li>Implement reliable APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot</li><li>Contribute to scalable microservices architecture serving global driver use cases</li><li>Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch)</li><li>Build and maintain asynchronous event pipelines with Kafka or RabbitMQ</li><li>Collaborate with global teams across the US, Europe, and India to deliver high-quality, production-grade solutions</li><li>Follow best practices in testing, monitoring, observability, and CI/CD</li><li>Participate actively in design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions</li></ul>This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow by working on systems that handle hundreds of thousands of driver interactions daily, at the intersection of clean technology and enterprise-scale software.<h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience</li><li>5 years of backend software development experience</li><li>Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in production environments</li><li>Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems fundamentals</li><li>Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)</li><li>Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)</li><li>Strong problem-solving and debugging skills</li><li>Good communication and collaboration skills, including working with globally distributed teams</li></ul>Nice to Have<ul><li>Exposure to cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).</li><li>Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Experience with Golang or PHP is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Location</h3>Campbell, CA <div>We are committed to an inclusive and diverse team.
