As a Senior Videographer on the Brand team, you will collaborate closely with and report to the Associate Creative Director. You’ll partner with the Marketing team to ensure alignment on project goals and bring the brand to life through compelling video and photography.</div><div>You will be responsible for capturing and executing Lightship’s visual storytelling across a wide range of environments, from vehicles in motion to authentic moments of people using the product. This is a hands-on, field-driven role requiring comfort working independently or with small crews, adapting quickly to changing conditions, and owning shoots from concept through capture. A strong visual point of view, technical confidence across production tools, and comfort with frequent travel are expected and required.</div><div><br></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Film Lightship vehicles in varied environments, including on-road, remote locations, and Lightship warehouse and production spaces</li><li>Capture authentic moments of people using the product in real-world scenarios</li><li>Operate camera, drone, audio, and lighting equipment on set and in the field</li><li>Travel frequently for shoots, events, brand activations, and road trips across the U.S.</li><li>Capture still photography as needed for marketing, social, and editorial use</li><li>Collaborate with Creative on shot lists and creative direction</li><li>Collaborate with Marketing partners to align on story, messaging, and outputs</li><li>Manage media capture, organization, and handoff for post-production</li><li>Maintain a high standard of visual quality and consistency across all deliverables</li><li>Edit short- and long-form video for YouTube, social platforms, paid media, and the website</li><li>Color grade footage, mix audio, and apply motion graphics as needed</li><li>Maintain organized project files and asset libraries</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5–8+ years of professional videography experience, preferably in automotive, outdoor, lifestyle, or brand storytelling</li><li>Proven experience filming vehicles in motion and in varied real-world conditions</li><li>Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, audio, and camera operation</li><li>Experience operating drones and capturing dynamic aerial footage</li><li>Comfortable working independently in the field and traveling extensively</li><li>Ability to capture both video and still photography at a professional level</li><li>Compelling portfolio demonstrating branded content, vehicles, and lifestyle work</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Ability to identify and capture authentic, story-driven moments in unscripted environments</li><li>Familiarity with outdoor, adventure, or travel storytelling, including multi-day road trip style shoots</li><li>Experience collaborating with freelancers, second shooters, or small crews, including light on-set leadership or coordination</li><li>Comfort adapting creative approach based on changing conditions, timelines, or story needs</li></ul><h3>Equity</h3><ul><li>Lightship compensation consists of the yearly salary above plus equity, which gives you a stake in the company.</li></ul><br><div><b>Onsite/Hybrid Work</b></div><div>Hybrid roles at Lightship require onsite work from our offices Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
