As an Expert MEP Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into our modular building solutions. In this role, you will: <ul><li>Assess and design MEP systems for timber-based residential and multi-use buildings, ensuring compliance with DACH region standards.</li><li>Provide technical expertise in at least one MEP discipline and contribute to cross-disciplinary discussions.</li><li>Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product developers to integrate MEP solutions seamlessly into modular systems.</li><li>Evaluate MEP components and systems for technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.</li><li>Build strong relationships with MEP component manufacturers to support product development. </li></ul> About you Required Qualifications: <ul><li>Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing / Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).</li><li>7+ years of experience in MEP design for multi-story residential buildings.</li><li>Strong knowledge of European/international building codes and standards (CEN, DIN, ÖNorm, SIA, CIBSE, ASHRAE).</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken).</li><li>Interest in timber construction and sustainable building design.</li><li>Understanding of sustainable design principles and energy efficiency strategies.</li><li>Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>German language skills.</li><li>Professional accreditation (e.g. CIBSE, ASHRAE).</li><li>Experience with prefabricated building systems and product certification processes (ETA, UL, UKCA).</li><li>Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD) is beneficial but not mandatory, as we have dedicated specialists for this. </li></ul> What we offer <ul><li>An unlimited, All-in contract with 25 vacation days. </li><li>Flexible, hybrid work: You can work from home or come into the office on the schedule that works best for you.
