for best application of use.</li><li>Lay out material for machining using instruments such as protractors, micrometers, scribes, height gage, gage blocks, V-blocks, angle plate and rulers.</li><li>Design jigs, fixtures, and templates for use as work aids in the fabrication of parts or products.</li><li>File, grind, shim, and adjust different parts for proper fit in both the tool room and on the production floor.</li><li>Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.</li><li>Work with the Quality Department to ensure First Article parts are produced and pass requirements</li><li>Remove broken fasteners and repair damaged threads in equipment on either the tool room or the production floor.</li><li>Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications;
