This full-time internship offers a unique opportunity for a student in an accounting or finance bachelor's degree program to gain hands-on experience with complex accounting issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced accounting professionals and will be involved in various aspects of accounting and finance, including cost accounting, fixed asset accounting, construction accounting, ASC 606 compliance, and related contract analysis.  Responsibilities Will Include:   <ul><li>Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.  </li></ul><ul><li>Support the accounting team in managing and tracking fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.  </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain and reconcile product cost data to ensure the integrity of inventory valuations and COGS reporting. </li></ul><ul><li>Participate in the accounting and financial reporting for construction projects and capital expenditures.  </li></ul><ul><li>Gain exposure to ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and assist in the analysis and documentation of contracts.  </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.  </li></ul><ul><li>Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.  </li></ul><ul><li>Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.  </li></ul>Desired Qualifications:  <ul><li>Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance.  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong academic record and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.  </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.  </li></ul><ul><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.  </li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.  </li></ul><ul><li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.  </li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> The location of the internship is in the Carson City, Nevada area. Interns are responsible for making their own housing and transportation arrangements.
