This person will be responsible for making sure our equipment runs smoothly and supporting our technical operations. The ideal candidate will be able to independently execute day-to-day operations and maintenance activities as well as be willing to roll up their sleeves to quickly tackle facility service and repair issues. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will work closely with all members of the Form Energy team. This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 – Form Energy’s 550,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose-built for high-volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast-moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large-scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt. <h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Perform equipment troubleshooting, repair and root cause analysis on manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Assist in the installation and commissioning of new and retrofit equipment.</li><li>Ensure a safe work environment.</li><li>Perform mechanical, electrical and control system maintenance on manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Develop and track equipment preventative maintenance schedules, and prepare maintenance reports using a cloud-based organizational tool or CMMS.</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log.</li><li>Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>HS Diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in an equipment maintenance role</li><li>Proficient in mechanical and electrical calibration</li><li>Ability to read and work from mechanical and electrical schematics</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Ability to be on your feet for extended periods</li><li>Strong Mechanical aptitude</li><li>Strong electrical trouble shooting ability</li><li>Controls experience a plus</li></ul>#LI-OnsiteHumanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that.
