Te āhua o te tūranga I The nature of the roleAs our new Test Engineer, you’ll be hands‑on across both manual and automated testing, spanning functional (API/UI) and non‑functional (performance) domains. Your mahi will help shape the quality of our trading and corporate platforms — systems that are critical to Contact’s growth and Aotearoa’s renewable future.You’ll work closely with Delivery Leads, Product Owners, BAs, Project Managers, and fellow Testers as part of a collaborative, transparent, cross‑functional team.In this role, you will:<ul><li>Define test scenarios and prepare test data</li><li>Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and end‑to‑end testing</li><li>Contribute to and maintain test automation frameworks (Playwright, Appium, Postman)</li><li>Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Confluence</li><li>Provide quality insights and advocate for exceptional user experiences</li><li>Influence testing strategy and support automation adoption</li><li>Get exposure to exciting projects, including battery management and SAP upgrades</li></ul>
