Read more on&nbsp;<a href="http://www.wartsila.com/">www.wartsila.com</a>.&nbsp;Service Technician, Mechanical&nbsp;Wärtsilä North America. is looking for a&nbsp;Service Technician, Mechanical&nbsp;to join our dynamic, fast-paced Field Service team for Energy Business..&nbsp;What will you be doing&nbsp;As a&nbsp;Service Technician, you will perform advanced mechanical as well as electronic &amp; automation and system integration related troubleshooting on reciprocating internal combustion (RICE) engines and auxiliary equipment. &nbsp;As&nbsp;a Service Technician,&nbsp;you will focus on these responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform Field Service activities according to the work plan and tasks that may be assigned.</li><li>Support in the technical advisory for repair activities executed on customers responsibility.</li><li>Interact with customers during&nbsp;the work execution.</li><li>Interacting with FS back office during work execution.</li><li>Report to local team leader and assist in generating Service Work Reports as needed.</li><li>Ensure that the work is executed according to Wartsila quality, health and environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.</li><li>Comply with the management system according to what has been implemented locally for her/his position.</li><li>Proactively consult, advise, and promote available Wartsila solutions and products to customer.</li><li>Perform all activities needed to reach the objectives of the position and comply with the orders, instructions, values and company policies applicable as employee and to the&nbsp;position.</li></ul>&nbsp;To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:2 years of experience working field service activities on:&nbsp;<ul><li>Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE)</li><li>Diesel or heavy fuel engines</li><li>Gas and or dual fuel engines</li><li>Fuel oil or gas injection systems</li><li>Engines auxiliary systems (separators, radiator, fuel and air systems)</li></ul>&nbsp;Additional Skills<ul><li>Good leadership and collaboration skills</li><li>Good electrical knowledge</li><li>Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)</li><li>Good computer skills</li></ul>&nbsp;Physical &amp; Mental/Reasoning Demands:These are physical and mental requirements of the position as it is typically performed.
