In this key role, you will report directly to the Group General Counsel and provide quality, precise, and relevant support on a wide range of corporate legal matters across the Landis+Gyr global group. Your main responsibilities will include:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">Provide full executive support to the General Counsel &amp; Company Secretary, including various approvals, travel, presentations, and scheduling.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support other Legal Team members with administrative tasks and document filings/housekeeping.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support on transformational strategic projects of Landis+Gyr group, e.g. due diligence preparation, documents drafting and project coordination; ensure progress tracking; legal project office.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Draft and revise group policies.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Coordinate Legal Team projects and initiatives, ensuring progress tracking and documentation.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support on board and committee meetings preparation – logistic and documents drafting, uploading etc.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Manage all vendor relationships, subscriptions, onboarding, invoice processing, and procurement escalations.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support Legal Tech tools (matter management, e-billing).</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Optimize and maintain electronic files, records, and contract repositories for accessibility and organization.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Coordinate team meetings, agendas, offsites, workshops, and internal events.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Handle internal stakeholder requests and coordinate with legal team members.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Coordinate authentications and notarizations (incl. apostilles) and organize signatures.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Follow up on working items with external law firms and service providers.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support legal budget management, including spend tracking, accruals, and reporting.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Support the introduction of a contract management system.  </li></ul>This position requires the following skills and experience:<ul><li style="text-align:justify;">A minimum of 5 years of experience working in corporate legal matters, either in a legal department or a law firm.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Law degree or paralegal training.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong attention to detail with a high level of diligence, legal precision, and care.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Fluent oral and written in English.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">A proactive team player with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Natural problem-solving ability, with commercial curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Strong sense of ownership and accountability in advancing projects.</li><li style="text-align:justify;">Ability to work in a high-energy, multi-jurisdictional, and cross-cultural environment with cultural sensitivity. #LI-PR1 #LI-Hybrid</li></ul> We're committed to shaping a better future for everyone. #EnergizeYourCareer and join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow.
