Success in this role requires creative problem-solving, adaptability and strong collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will act as a growth catalyst.Principal responsibilities:<ul><li>Ensure that the best Technical/Market Price is delivered to our customers.</li><li>Design customized solutions applicable to the specific vertical.</li><li>Drive new product launches within a specific market alongside Marketing dept.</li><li>Accountable to identify strategic product pricing.</li><li>Maintain accurate data and leverage insights to identify opportunities and build actionable plans against KPIs.</li><li>Strong partnership with internal stakeholders to identify indirect specific sales channels.</li><li>Conduct deep market study and analysis to serve new or growing vertical markets.</li><li>Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of sales process.</li><li>Generate reports and dashboards to track result from each vertical and highlight areas for improvement.</li><li>Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to support scalable vertical markets growth.</li><li>Strong collaboration with the local salesforce to ensure the achievement of the business growth defined by the segment strategy.</li><li>Ensure higher win rate, making post-mortem analysis on lost cases with sales.</li><li>Manage priority among customers with a hunter mindset and proactive approach to effectively ensuring the best quotations and offer follow ups.</li><li>Identify possible partnership with Third Parties to become more effective in the way we address the vertical market.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related relevant experience.</li><li>5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the industrial sector.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in Salesforce other systems such as PowerBI, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Familiarity with channel sales models and partner ecosystems.</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proactivity</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Sales acumen</li><li>Identifies and mitigates risks</li><li>Breaks down problems effectively and leverages RCA</li><li>Performs strongly under pressure or in face of challenges</li><li>Focuses on long-term goals despite setbacks or failures</li><li>Leads change with optimism</li></ul>Travel requirements: up to 75%.Location: North-Italy, with the responsibility on the entire countryJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
