The candidate will be responsible for the monthly maintenance of the allocation model and the reporting of results to stakeholders including variance analysis as required.Job DutiesThe aim of the role is to manage a transparent allocations process, whilst maintaining the process and controls and reviewing the output for completeness. Outside of the allocations timeline the role will provide scope for ad hoc involvement with the production of the group's management accounts.<ul><li>Ensure costs are fully and accurately allocated in a timely manner every month</li><li>Company TP ICAP Location Manila</li><li>Division: Cost Management Reports to: Global Process Owner Cost Management and Accounts Payable.</li><li>Create and maintain trust in the allocations process with clear and transparent explanations</li><li>Produce monthly reporting to the business</li><li>Facilitate maintenance of the inputs into the global allocations model monthly and annually in line with the groups Budgeting and Forecasting timetables</li><li>Process changes in a controlled manner, understanding the downstream implications</li><li>Perform system housekeeping and maintenance to input resources</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships across the business</li><li>Facilitate contact between stakeholders to promote understanding of the nature of costs produced and the value of services consumed</li><li>Fulfil any additional ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business</li><li>Develop reporting as and when required to meet the needs of the business and assist with new MI reporting</li><li>Produce periodical invoices to overseas centres.</li><li>Identify and implement process improvements within the allocations tool producing timetable savings/efficiencies where applicable.</li><li>Support the wider team with adhoc tasks when required</li></ul>Competencies<ul><li>Diligent and a high attention to detail</li><li>Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and deliver high quality well considered solutions</li><li>Willingness to challenge the status quo and to support strategic change</li><li>Conscientious, self-motivated, resilient and goal oriented</li><li>Excellent analytical skills</li><li>Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required</li></ul>Skills and Experience<ul><li>This role would suit a result motivated, numerate, part qualified accountant with good attention to detail and able to work independently following logical steps and processes</li><li>The candidate should be a proactive team player with the ability to communicate at all levels.</li><li>The role will require strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyse large amounts of data with excel formula</li><li>Experience with Oracle, OneStream and Power BI would be beneficial</li></ul>Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
