The Production Supervisor role will be responsible for leading our high performing team consisting of a multitude of different technician and welding skill sets. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, exceptional people skills, and a passion for always improving. They’ll be working cross functionally with other internal members to develop and manage production team members.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">* Shift Differential for third shift - 15%</span></div><br><br><h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul><li>Hire &amp; supervise a team of Production technicians and welders to build electromechanical parts and assemblies</li><li>Execute on production plans, priorities, and schedules provided by manufacturing management and planning</li><li>Organize daily task lists and workflow by assigning responsibilities to the proper people </li><li>Lead cross-functional daily stand-up meetings with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery. Write daily updates and quality reports </li><li>Establish safety plans and protocols (working closely with EHSS) and work area cleanliness standards and ensure they are met by all technicians  </li><li>Run training programs for key team skill sets &amp; processes</li><li>Manage and approve timecards and perform biannual reviews for all direct reports. Manage personnel issues in partnership with Human Resources</li><li>Perform R&amp;D and prototype hardware builds with minimal documentation and oversight</li><li>Perform production hardware builds according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing discrepancies with a focus on continuous improvement</li></ul><h3>What we're looking for:</h3><ul><li>High school diploma/equivalency certificate or higher</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a formal leadership role in a manufacturing setting </li><li>Minimum of 10 years’ experience with a variety of technical skills such as, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical assembly, plumbing, vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, soldering, and wiring</li><li>Demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical and electrical drawings, manuals, and reports.
