<div>The Enterprise Applications Engineering team is the central software innovation partner for all of Zoox. As a leader on this team, you will have a unique, panoramic view of the entire organization and the opportunity to solve a diverse set of problems that are crucial to revolutionizing transportation.</div><div><br></div><div>In this role, you’ll lead and grow a team of Application Engineers responsible for designing and delivering scalable, high-quality enterprise applications. You’ll combine strong technical judgment with people leadership to elevate engineering practices, drive modern development methodologies, and help shape how enterprise software is built across the company.</div><br><br><h3>In this role you will:</h3><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application engineers, fostering strong engineering culture and best practices</li><li>Guide teams to solve complex problems by identifying root causes and designing elegant, reusable solutions</li><li>Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, reliable enterprise applications</li><li>Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including agile methodologies, CI/CD, and automated testing</li><li>Partner cross-functionally to deliver features aligned with Zoox’s strategic and operational goals</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field</li><li>5+ years of people management experience, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management</li><li>Strong technical background in software engineering with hands-on experience in Python, Java, or C++</li><li>Proven experience leading software teams and evolving development practices at scale</li><li>Experience building and operating distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications</li></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or other complex hardware-software domains</li><li>Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and applying it in large systems</li><li>Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes</li><li>Formal experience or certification as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master</li><li>Track record of leading organizational or team-level engineering transformations</li></ul><br>

<p>Zoox is developing the first fully electric autonomous vehicles to support low-carbon transportation and to decrease congestion and reliance on individual car ownership in urban areas.&nbsp;</p>
