Everyone is highly valued and plays a vital role in the growth of our organization.</p></div><p><strong>Supply Chain Director – Gotion Inc.</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Manteno, IL<br><strong>Salary:</strong> $180,000 – $230,000</p><p><strong>Company Overview:</strong><br>Gotion, Inc. is building a state-of-the-art EV battery manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. The plant will focus on cell, pack, and energy storage system production, creating approximately 2,600 full-time jobs and playing a strategic role in the U.S. EV battery supply chain.</p><p><strong>Position Purpose:</strong><br>Lead and execute end-to-end supply chain strategy for the Manteno facility, including demand planning, procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, warehousing, supplier relationships, and process improvements.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with plant objectives.</li><li>Lead multi-functional teams in procurement, logistics, inventory control, warehousing, and supplier quality.</li><li>Manage domestic and global supplier relationships.</li><li>Oversee demand forecasting, MRP, safety stock levels, and inventory optimization.</li><li>Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective material flow.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean, Six Sigma, value stream mapping) to reduce costs and improve efficiency.</li><li>Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and sustainability standards.</li><li>Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain with business goals.</li><li>Develop and manage departmental budgets and KPIs (inventory turns, supplier on-time performance, logistics cost per unit).</li><li>Mentor and develop supply chain team talent.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.</li><li>10–15 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably in high-volume manufacturing or EV/automotive industries.</li><li>Experience managing global supply chains, sourcing strategy, logistics, and inventory management.</li><li>Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics.</li><li>Strong leadership, team development, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li><li>Willingness to be based in Manteno, IL, with occasional travel.</li><li>EV battery manufacturing experience is a plus.</li></ul><div><div><div><p>Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
