The Office Administrator ensures the smooth, efficient, and professional running of day‑to‑day office operations. This role supports staff, maintains administrative systems, and acts as a central point of coordination across the organisation. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.</li><li>Maintain filing systems (digital and physical).</li><li>Prepare documents, reports, and presentations.</li><li>Schedule meetings, appointments, and room bookings.</li></ul> Office Operations <ul><li>Oversee office supplies, equipment, and inventory.</li><li>Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.</li><li>Ensure the office environment is tidy, safe, and well‑organised.</li><li>Support onboarding of new staff (desk setup, access, documentation).</li></ul> Finance &amp; HR Support <ul><li>Process PO's and expenses.</li><li>Onboarding of new suppliers and sub-contractors and liaise with central finance team.</li><li>Maintain staff records and support HR admin tasks. </li></ul> Communication &amp; Coordination <ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients.</li><li>Coordinate internal communications and circulate updates.</li><li>Support event planning (meetings, training sessions, team events).</li></ul> Skills &amp; Competencies  <ul><li>Strong organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.</li><li>Proficiency with office software (Microsoft 365, emails, excel).</li><li>Professional, friendly, and proactive attitude. </li></ul> Experience &amp; Qualifications <ul><li>Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.</li><li>Competence with standard office equipment and digital tools.</li><li>Basic understanding of finance or HR processes (desirable).</li><li>GSCE-levels or equivalent; business admin qualifications are a plus.</li></ul> Personal Attributes <ul><li>Reliable and trustworthy.</li><li>Calm under pressure.</li><li>Problem-solver with initiative.</li><li>Team-oriented but able to work Independently. </li></ul> Benefits <ul><li>Annual leave entitlement of 22 days (extra day per year up to 25 days) plus bank holidays.</li><li>Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.</li><li>Salary is National Minimum Wage.</li></ul></div>
