We are looking for a proactive and skilled Software Testing Engineer to join our TechSim team. You will work in Scrum team on a TechSim simulator used in maritime academies worldwide for training regulated technological simulator, including engine room simulationTanker arrangement and cargo handling facilities familiarisation, LNG bunkering and fuel gas supply systems familiarisation, and other functionalities. The reason of hiring is active business and development team grow. The team believes in incremental delivery and work in close collaboration with customers. Company-wide communications are in English. We strive to use only English for written technical communication. This is a permanent role, the location is in Belgrade, Serbia What you will do:· Participation in testing for TechSim simulator system· Functional testing· Analysis of test results, identify defects, and document them with clear, structured reporting· Reproduction of situations leading to errors, their localization· Monitor bug fixes and validate issue resolutions· Create and maintain test documentation (test plans, checklists, test cases)· Work closely with product owners, mathematical modelers, developers and collaborate with other cross-functional team to ensure high-quality software delivery· Follow agile methodologies, actively participating in sprint activities To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:· 3+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA· Strong understanding of software testing methodologies processes· Experience in test design, execution, and defect analysis with a structured, detail-oriented approach· Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills· Knowledge of operating system Windows· Understanding of SCRUM (Agile) processes and the role of QA in software development· Intermediate or higher English proficiency (all company-wide communication is in English) Will be a plus:· Engineering background· Experience in stress testing and writing simple automation scripts (Python preferred)· Interest in maritime domain· Understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) In Wärtsilä Voyage you will have the opportunity to:· Be a part of a global team of professionals· Work on complex interesting products and build your career at international scale· Introduce your ideas and take initiatives· Profit from the medical insurance, flexible remote working arrangements &amp; other internal benefits Contact &amp; next steps:  Please submit your application through our Careers Portal.
