First, it is enhancing its distribution, with 78% of the division’s 2024 revenue originating from third-party channels, and an increasing proportion (22%) being generated from direct channels, such as the cloud. Finally, the business is expanding its buy-side client base.Role Overview The data quality plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of market data across multiple brands and platforms. This position involves real-time monitoring, testing, and escalation of data anomalies, contributing to the overall quality assurance framework of the organization. Candidates should demonstrate the ability or possess experience that qualifies them to perform these duties with guidance and supervision.<ul><li>Focus: Executes core real-time data quality responsibilities</li><li>Indicators: Attention to detail, focus on issue resolution</li><li>Autonomy: Functional Ownership, owns processes, suggests improvements</li><li>Decision-making: Makes decisions impacting price quality outcomes</li><li>Support: Minimal oversight; consults for strategic changes</li></ul>Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Independently monitor real-time price validation systems to detect and fix data errors and delays.</li><li>Use market knowledge to triage anomalies and anticipate the impact of market-moving events to improve data quality parameters</li><li>Escalate data issues to internal teams (e.g., engineering, analytics, product) and external data providers, ensuring clear documentation of the problem, its impact, and any interim workarounds.</li><li>Conduct in-depth data analysis and fault diagnostics to identify the root causes of anomalies, delays, or inaccuracies in market data. Apply statistical and technical methods to isolate issues and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence and improve overall data quality.</li><li>Collaborate with Parameta Solutions and TP ICAP technical and analytics teams to maintain system functionality.</li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Data Quality leadership.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in system enhancement initiatives by providing detailed feedback on data validation tools and workflows; support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, ensuring they meet operational and data quality requirements.</li><li>Lead incident management and root cause analysis, including documentation and follow-up actions.</li></ul>Experience / Competences Essential <ul><li>Ability or experience that qualifies the candidate to perform set duties with guidance and supervision</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>4+ years of experience in Data Quality operations or a related field</li><li>Prior experience in a data quality, market data, or operations role.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data platforms.</li><li>Exposure to machine learning or automation tools for data validation.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Familiarity with financial markets and data flows.</li><li>Experience with real-time data monitoring tools and QA applications.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>Job Band &amp; Level <ul><li>Professional/ 5</li></ul>Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
