<ul><li>Fully understand the receiving/shipping process and work instructions to be able to successfully receive/ship material systematically and physically.</li><li>Manually load and unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required.</li><li>Transport materials from storage or point of use work areas.</li><li>Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage of products in transit and identifies/corrects unsafe or damaged packaging conditions as needed (ex: freight claims).</li><li>Count, weigh, and record opened/unsealed materials for accurate SAP transactions and labeling.</li><li>Accurately and timely enter materials transactional information into SAP and other system as required.</li><li>Read electronic and manual bill of materials, pull sheets, pick sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.</li><li>Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.</li><li>Load/unload material into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocols.</li><li>Adherence to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and goods are low on inventory and adjustments need to be made to meet customer shipments.</li><li>Proactively communicate to carriers for late or no-show trailers.</li><li>Monitor expediate entities for timely pick up, etc.</li><li>Audit task performance to standards.</li><li>Communicate to 3PL provided as needed for shipping coordination.</li><li>Be the onsite contact in partnership with Shipping Specialist for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) carriers regarding a truck arriving outside their normal window and the contact for OEM’s regarding an AND inquiry.</li><li>Establish that all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly labeled and that correlating documents are available.</li><li>Accurately and timely enter materials’ transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.</li><li>Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.</li><li>Adherence to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.</li><li>Assist in training and educating employees within the department.</li></ul>Additional Information: <ul><li>Travel is occasionally required, up to 5% of the
