A Sea of Solutions…..One Supplier.For more information, visit our website at <a href="http://www.teledynemarine.com/">www.teledynemarine.com</a>.Position Overview:This position is responsible for overseeing the Orlando day shift test and production floor, which includes approximately 10 direct report employees.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Ensure the working environment is clean, organized, and always safe for employees.  Understand and ensure team complies with all ODI safety policies and basic safe work practices.</li><li>Understand and enforce all company policies as they apply to the area of responsibility.</li><li>Oversee and drive all production-related activities to ensure customer expectations and business goals are met.</li><li>Understand monthly production plans / weekly schedules and allocate resources accordingly.</li><li>Identify obstacles to achieving business goals and provide solutions or seek assistance.</li><li>Responsible for the coordination of all departmental training including employee cross-training.</li><li>Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Mfg. Operations.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>An associate degree in a technical field preferred.</li><li>Minimum 2 years manufacturing supervision preferred.</li><li>Previous supervisory experience in an Engineer-to-order environment preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and other world-class manufacturing concepts a plus.</li></ul>Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:<ul><li>Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers</li><li>Knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook</li><li>Proven leadership skills/experience (ability to drive and motivate)</li><li>Strong communication skills, written and verbal.</li><li>Strong organization skills</li><li>Professionalism a must</li><li>Team Player a must</li><li>Ability to adapt to change and maintain a positive attitude a must.</li></ul>Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).************************What can Teledyne offer YOU?
