This role will be responsible for managing propeller systems including the propeller and internal systems, integration, and production. The position requires a deep understanding of aviation/aerospace programs and experience with various propeller systems, technologies and suppliersKey Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. Lead propeller engineering programs to optimize performance and reliability.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and test teams to drive technical problem-solving and continuous product and process improvements.</li><li>Serve as primary customer and stakeholder point of contact for program status updates, technical reviews, and issue resolution.</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including schedules, risk registers, and technical reports, in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Drive Trade studies and apply advanced knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes to support the design, testing, and production of high-performance propeller blades and oversee supplier relationships.</li></ul>Technical Leadership:<ul><li>Guide material selection, manufacturing processes and designs for propellers.</li><li>Oversee/support propeller integration with Electrical Propulsion System including design and product validation.</li><li>Lead technical reviews and design validation activities.</li><li>Manage weight targets and structural performance requirements</li><li>Drive propeller manufacturing optimization and cost reduction initiatives.</li><li>Contribute to technology roadmap and optimization/opportunity initiatives</li></ul>Program Management:<ul><li>Develop and track program metrics and KPIs.</li><li>Manage program budget and own Engineering Planning activities. </li><li>Drive stakeholder communications to reduce gaps and keep pulse on the business.</li><li>Facilitate effective cross-functional team meetings for propeller program activities by setting clear agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring timely follow-up on decisions and deliverables.</li><li>Prepare and deliver concise, data-driven status updates and presentations to executive leadership, clearly communicating program progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. </li></ul>What You Need:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field</li><li>5+ years of program management experience in aerospace/aviation or similar industries.</li><li>Proven experience managing propeller/rotor dynamics programs</li><li>Experience with vehicle development programs (aircraft, automotive, or similar)</li><li>Strong project management proficiency</li><li>Excellence in stakeholder management</li><li>Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities</li><li>Strong financial acumen and budget management</li><li>Expert-level presentation and communication skills</li><li>Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams</li><li>Manage multiple suppliers to meet quality, schedule and cost targets. </li></ul>Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>Master's degree in relevant field</li><li>PMP certification preferred</li><li>Experience with eVTOL or urban air mobility programs</li><li>Background in propeller materials and composite manufacturing processes</li><li>Experience with FAA certification processes</li><li>Knowledge of aircraft systems integration</li><li>Experience with agile program management methodologies</li><li>Experience in traditional aircraft/vehicular systems</li></ul>At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent who possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
