The Financial Systems Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that our ERP landscapes are efficiently operated and securely maintained.The role is multifaceted and spans various areas, often supporting specific business processes or segments of the ERP landscape. Success in this position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, financial knowledge, and collaborative skills to optimize and manage financial systems effectively across the organization.<ul></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Configure and maintain the ERP system to ensure it runs smoothly and reliably according to established processes.</li><li>Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.</li><li>Provide technical/operational support to AFRY’s user base.</li><li>Communicate with the Vendor for operational topics.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues and help implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement system enhancements, upgrades, and patches including related testing.</li><li>Develop and maintain system documentation, e.g. installation procedures, configuration guides, and troubleshooting protocols etc.</li><li>Participate in auditing system usages according to regulatory and compliance requirements.</li><li>Support in system adaptations according to business requirements e.g. creation of SAPBO reports, lobbies, invoices etc.</li><li>Support Merger &amp; Acquisition activities, business projects and governance initiatives.</li></ul>
