Role Purpose...The Head of Supply Chain &amp; Toll Manufacturing is a senior, strategic, and execution-focused role, reporting directly to the GM Asia based in Singapore. This position is pivotal in establishing and operating Samsara’s enzyme and consumables supply network in Asia while supporting global operations. The Head of Supply Chain will play a critical role in enabling this innovation to reach customers reliably and efficiently, translating scientific breakthroughs into operational excellence.  This is a high-visibility, high-impact role, combining strategic leadership—building scalable supply chain foundations in a new region—with hands-on operational ownership—managing day-to-day tolling, production, and logistics. The role ensures reliable supply, cost efficiency, and operational excellence in a fast-growing market.  The role also includes planning and implementing supply chains to support:  <ul><li>Samsara’s FCF operations – managing inbound supply of raw materials, consumables, enzymes, packaging, and spare parts, and ensuring smooth outbound delivery of finished products. </li></ul><ul><li>Samsara as a licensor – establishing regional supply chains to reliably supply licensees and future Nylon facilities, including advisory support to optimize their operations. </li></ul> Key Responsibilities... Strategic Supply Chain Leadership <ul><li>Build and optimize an end-to-end supply chain to support both current operations and future growth in Asia. </li></ul><ul><li>Establish the foundations for resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient supply chain operations. </li></ul><ul><li>Define risk mitigation plans, dual-sourcing strategies, and long-term partnerships with toll manufacturers and suppliers. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with commercial, operations, and customer service teams to align supply chain strategy with business objectives. </li></ul> Transactional &amp; Operational Execution <ul><li>Own day-to-day management of toll manufacturing partners, ensuring production schedules, quality, yields, and timelines are met. </li></ul><ul><li>Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, inventory management, and distribution operations. </li></ul><ul><li>Monitor and improve supplier and toller performance, implementing operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives. </li></ul><ul><li>Negotiate contracts, manage procurement of raw materials, and ensure compliance across all supply chain activities. </li></ul> Compliance, Quality &amp; Digital Enablement <ul><li>Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and EHS teams to ensure all supply chain activities meet internal and external compliance standards. </li></ul><ul><li>Implement digital tools and ERP improvements to increase visibility, efficiency, and control across operations. </li></ul> Why this role is exciting in Singapore...  <ul><li>High-impact leadership: Be the cornerstone of Samsara’s supply chain operations in a new, strategic region. </li></ul><ul><li>Strategic + operational challenge: Design and execute a complex tolling and logistics network in a fast-moving market. </li></ul><ul><li>Global exposure: Influence supply chain strategy across regions while ensuring reliable delivery to international customers. </li><li>Visible and pivotal role: Directly shape the supply chain foundations that will support future growth in Asia and globally.  </li></ul>About You...<ul><li>Bachelor’s or master's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field. </li></ul><ul><li>8+ years of experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally in the chemical, specialty materials, or catalyst industries. </li></ul><ul><li>Strong experience managing external manufacturing (tolling) partners. </li></ul><ul><li>Deep understanding of supply planning, logistics, and manufacturing operations in a B2B context. </li></ul><ul><li>Proven track record of improving supply performance, reducing costs, and enhancing reliability. </li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain analytics tools.</li><li>Mandarin speaking is a nice to have. </li><li>This role will require travel within Asia once or twice per quarter.</li></ul> Why Work with us...
