This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with juggling multiple responsibilities and balancing priorities. The Membership Administrative Coordinator’s time would be dedicated to handling a wide range of duties that enable smooth Membership services functioning and are in service of supporting high-level professionals at NRDC.  The position you are applying for is part of the bargaining unit represented by The Washington Baltimore News Guild (WBNG / The Newsguild-CWA Local 32035).   <h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Provide administrative support for the Managing Director of Membership, Senior Director, Membership Marketing &amp; Mid-level Giving, and Membership Gift Officers including preparing expense reports and calendar management. </li> <li>Work alongside the Senior Membership Engagement Associate to respond to email inquiries about NRDC’s programmatic work</li> <li>Process vendor invoices for NRDC's direct mail program, ensuring accurate tracking and timely payment, and assist with budget management and reporting for the Membership department.</li> <li>Review direct mail materials and allocate joint costs in accordance with accounting guidelines.</li> <li>Helps to manage and update the Membership SOP documentation in collaboration with the team members. </li> <li>Manage communications to members and supporters via the NRDC Action email mailbox and two telephone hotlines. </li> <li>Compile member comments and feedback from the NRDC Action email mailbox and report findings to Directors of Membership and Digital Advocacy.</li> <li>Coordinate special member stewardship communications. </li> <li>Log daily interactions into the Membership Console case system in Salesforce </li> <li>Coordinate matching gifts and workplace giving in CRM </li></ul>The above list of duties is not comprehensive but generally demonstrates the types of matters under this position’s responsibility.
