As a Manager of Solution Consutling at Workiva, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Solutions Consultants (SCs) as well as performing presales activities in the field as needed to deliver against revenue targets specifically in our UK&amp;I market. Your expertise won't be confined to the sidelines – it will be front and center, driving us toward new horizons. In addition to contributing individually, you'll guide your team on best practices, improve their sales and technical skills, and assist them with overcoming challenges in the field.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Lead a team of Solution Consultants to support the Workiva sales groups to meet their solution needs</li><li>Provide employees with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities to enhance their skills, motivation, and performance</li><li>Match staff skills and talent to tasks to ensure optimal engagement and performance</li><li>Ensure effective alignment of resources and skill sets within the assigned sales territory</li><li>Establish and maintain relationships and effectively communicate with customers, business unit leaders and senior management to raise visibility and ensure collaboration </li><li>Develop working knowledge of industries and use cases where the Workiva Platform can have an impact</li><li>Provide support for all sales activities including needs analysis, discovery, product demonstrations and alignment to customer goals as a player/coach</li><li>Participate in strategic projects that further the Solution Consulting organization and ensure successful delivery of proof of concepts and guided trials</li></ul>What You'll NeedMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field​; an advanced degree may be considered in lieu of professional experience </li><li>Minimum 2 years of direct people management experience</li><li>5 years solution consulting experience</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and web security</li><li>Ability to discuss technical terminology and best practices for SaaS applications</li><li>Ability to identify and resolve development, marketing, or sales obstacles through strong collaboration and communication skills</li><li>Ability to understand, empathize, and propose solutions to customers' business challenges, and mentor the team members on doing the same</li><li>Ability to speak to multiple customer facing audiences from individual contributors to executive management with confidence and a tailored message</li></ul>Travel Requirements and Working Conditions <ul><li>Willingness to travel up to 50% for team and corporate meetings, fostering relationships and representing company interests  </li><li>Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, as we embrace flexible work arrangements</li></ul><div>Workiva is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe that great minds think differently. We value diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and interests, and we recognize diversity as an important source of intellectual thought, varied perspective, and innovation.  Employment decisions are made without regard to age, gender identity, race, religion, disability status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.  Workiva is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities.
