This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to expanding Phoenix’s footprint within the defense industrial base. </span></div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Execute government engagement strategy across DoD, Congress, and federal agencies </li><li>Support defense-focused policy initiatives tied to critical minerals and domestic manufacturing </li><li>Build and maintain working relationships with congressional offices and defense agencies </li><li>Engage with defense primes to align policy efforts with procurement and supply chain needs </li><li>Track defense authorization, appropriations, and regulatory developments impacting Phoenix </li><li>Prepare briefing materials, policy memos, and stakeholder updates for leadership </li><li>Represent Phoenix Tailings in defense and aerospace policy meetings and working groups </li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>6–10 years of experience in government affairs, defense policy, or federal relations </li><li>Experience engaging with DoD, congressional committees, or defense-focused agencies </li><li>Familiarity with aerospace and defense supply chains and industrial base issues </li><li>Experience working with or supporting engagements involving defense primes </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to operate independently in a high-growth, technically complex environment </li></ul><h3>We offer a competitive compensation package that is based on expertise.
