This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight, compliance, and administration of the Company's corporate credit agreements and debt instruments. The role serves as a key liaison across Development, FP&amp;A/Treasury, Legal, Accounting, and Project Finance/M&amp;A/Capital Markets teams to ensure accurate loan reconciliations, timely covenant compliance, proper interest capitalization, and comprehensive corporate debt-related reporting. In addition to supporting operational excellence, this position plays a vital role in strategic corporate financing activities, helping to ensure the organization's capital structure is effectively managed and aligned with corporate objectives. This role reports to the Vice President, Treasury. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Maintain and administer all corporate credit agreements and ensure compliance with terms.</li><li>Prepare and track draw requests (including preparation, review and/or delivery of conditions precedent to drawings), prepayments, maturities, interest period conversions and continuations at both the corporate and project level financings.</li><li>Perform loan reconciliations and validate principal and interest payments.</li><li>Support the administration, reporting obligations, and compliance of corporate credit agreements by calculating applicable fees, monitoring covenant compliance, and maintaining effective communication with lenders among other responsibilities.</li><li>Prepare, review and submit compliance certificates and related documentation, as applicable.</li><li>As new corporate credit facilities are negotiated, review and comment on term sheets and definitive documents.</li><li>Calculate and record interest costs on development-stage projects in accordance with the company's capitalization policy.</li><li>Assist Accounting and FP&amp;A teams with accurate calculation and reporting of interest by project.</li><li>Coordinate the preparation and management of closing documentation to support the accurate and timely repayment of debt obligations.</li><li>Manage issuance, renewal, and tracking of credit instruments such as letters of credit, surety bonds, and parent guarantees in coordination with the Sr Analyst, Treasury.</li><li>Support Accounting and Compliance Team with audits and insurance renewal by providing credit support-related documentation for corporate entities.</li><li>Coordinate with banking partners to open and maintain bank accounts and ensure compliance with KYC requirements.</li><li>Prepare schedules and documentation to support due diligence and audits as well as quarterly and annual debt disclosures.</li><li>Support ad hoc analysis and scenario modeling related to corporate debt planning.</li><li>Assist in evaluating refinancing opportunities, amendments, or new credit facilities.</li><li>Develop and improve internal controls and documentation surrounding debt-related workflows.</li></ul> REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.</li><li>7+ years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, or accounting, with 3+ years of experience in corporate debt management and compliance.</li><li>Experience with loan administration, credit agreements, and capital project accounting.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP accounting for interest capitalization and debt instruments.</li><li>Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Planful, Intacct) and banking treasury management platforms.</li><li>Experience with implementing Credit Agreement &amp; Debt Management Systems designed to help companies manage multiple credit agreements, calculate interests, track covenants, amortization schedules, and coordinate reporting across multiple departments.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional environment with both technical and non-technical team members who are geographically dispersed.</li><li>Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and take initiative to drive solutions.</li><li>Ability to uphold standards of complete discretion and confidentiality and exercise good judgment on day-to-day decisions.</li><li>Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver timely, high-quality results.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools and applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, with advanced proficiency in Excel and debt modeling.</li></ul> #LI-Remote<div><div><div>Avantus offers competitive compensation with an excellent benefits package, including 401(k) matching; comprehensive medical and dental plan options; and flexible PTO.
