<div>Job Responsibility<ul><li>Working closely with the global aviation team, own and maintain global flight operations standards, SOPs, and manuals for RPAS operations within the India region.</li><li>Define minimum operational readiness criteria for pilots, flight crews, and field teams prior to deployment on live projects.</li><li>Establish and enforce the standardised flight execution models within India in conjunction with Australia, USA, and Canada, while allowing for regulatory localisation.</li><li>Participate in Infravision global best practice  as an authority on flight operations, escalation protocols, and go/no-go decision frameworks.</li></ul>Safety, Compliance &amp; Risk Management<ul><li>Partner closely with Aviation Safety, EHS, and Regulatory teams to ensure flight operations comply with:<ul><li>The DGCA and or MOCACompany SMS (Safety Management System)</li><li>Client and utility-specific aviation requirements.</li></ul></li><li>Lead incident / near-miss reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans related to flight operations.</li><li>Embed a just culture and high-reliability mindset across all flight operations teams.</li></ul>Flight Crew Capability &amp; Readiness<ul><li>Execute and refine global pilot competency frameworks, currency requirements, and recurrency training standards.</li><li>Ensure alignment between training outcomes and real-world operational performance.</li><li>Validate flight crew readiness for:<ul><li>Complex construction environments</li><li>New platforms, payloads, and software releases</li><li>Challenging terrain, weather, and regulatory conditions</li></ul></li></ul>Operational Integration &amp; Scale<ul><li>Work closely with Head of Aviation, Operational Leaders and the global Aviation Team and Regional Heads to:<ul><li>Forecast flight operations capacity</li><li>Support mobilisation for new projects and geographies</li><li>Optimise crew utilisation and deployment models</li></ul></li></ul>Technology &amp; Product Feedback Loop<ul><li>Act as a bridge between flight operations and engineering/product teams, ensuring:<ul><li>Operational learnings are captured and fed into product improvements</li><li>Training and SOPs evolve alongside platform and software changes</li></ul></li><li>Support flight testing, beta programs, and controlled rollouts of new RPAS platforms or features.</li></ul>Team Leadership <ul><li>Lead and develop a global network of instructors, check pilots, and flight operations leads.</li><li>Build succession and depth in global flight leadership to reduce single-point dependencies.</li><li>Coach regional leaders on flight discipline, operational excellence, and standard adherence</li></ul></div>
