For this role, we believe your starting point is:<ul><li>Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program.</li><li>Desire to work in chemical, power, and industrial market segment.</li><li>Desire and ability to work at industrial facilities gathering data for designs (expect &lt;10% travel).</li><li>Detail oriented individual.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced work environment.</li></ul>Tasks and Responsibilities<ul><li>Performing design work in various areas of the mechanical engineering discipline.  The candidate should also expect to work in industrial facility layout, piping design, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, central utility plants, and fire protection</li><li>Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to produce final construction drawings and details.</li><li>Developing conceptual designs and cost estimates for early stages of the project life cycle.</li><li>Creating design drawings utilizing Autodesk Plant3D design software.</li><li>Designing process and utility piping systems per ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3</li><li>Designing material handling systems.</li><li>Visiting job sites as required to support the design effort.  A mix of day trips and overnight domestic trips should be expected.</li><li>Adhering to the policies and standards set forth in the Ramboll’s Project Execution Manual.</li><li>Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for all employees by adhering to Ramboll’s Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.</li></ul>
