This is a great opportunity to work with a wide network of people in Accounting and Finance across BW’s global businesses. The Internal Audit Intern will support execution of the audit plan focused on ICFR (SOX) and non-ICFR audits along with other ad-hoc projects. They will be responsible for controls testing related to processes like Financial Statement close, Expenditures, Revenue, Inventory, Payroll and others while working with BW global teams.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and prepare internal audit templates and work papers.</li><li>Assemble relevant information for use in planning and execution of internal audit projects.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Internal Audit team.</li><li>Perform audit procedures and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls. Clearly document procedures performed and the results, including control deficiencies to departmental standards.</li><li>Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Internal Audit department management.</li><li>Effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization to support Internal Audit team.</li></ul>What we’re looking for<ul><li>Current student pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting with an interest in auditing and/or internal controls, Finance or related field.</li><li>GPA of 3.0 of higher on a 4.0 scale, upon initial hire date.</li><li>Hybrid worker (3 days in office and others, remote).
