This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Calculation and Review of rates</li><li>Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes related to cost analysis.</li><li>Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs.</li><li>Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost data.</li><li>Support internal and external audits with cost-related documentation.</li><li>Prepare monthly and quarterly cost accounting reports for management review.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>2–4 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.</li><li>Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of inventory management and cost allocation methods.</li><li>Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements.</li></ul>Work Environment:This position is based in an office setting at Teledyne DGO’s Portsmouth, NH facility, with occasional interaction with production teams.#DGO  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
