As a Service Sales Engineer, you are responsible for driving service-related revenue growth by promoting and selling technical projects, upgrades, and care plans to TOMRA Food’s existing customer base. The role focuses on market development across the UK and Scandinavia, covering all TOMRA Food platforms and applications.This position requires a strong blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen. The Service Sales Engineer will work independently to identify, develop, and close opportunities, while collaborating closely with the regional Service and Sales teams to deliver against revenue targets and strengthen long-term customer relationships. You will also act as a main collaborator to TOMRA’s Global Services organisation to develop and prioritise future offerings to our customers.The main responsibilities of a Service Sales Engineer include:Sales &amp; Market Development<ul><li>Proactively identify, develop, and close service sales opportunities within the existing customer base, including upgrades, retrofits, technical projects, and care plans.</li><li>Drive market development across the UK and Scandinavia region for all TOMRA Food platforms and applications.</li><li>Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline to consistently deliver against regional revenue targets.</li><li>Apply value-based selling principles to clearly articulate the technical and financial benefits of TOMRA service solutions.</li><li>Lead negotiations and commercial discussions to secure profitable agreements.</li></ul>Technical &amp; Commercial Engagement<ul><li>Act as a trusted technical advisor towards our customers, understanding their processes, challenges, and operational goals.</li><li>Develop and present technical proposals, quotations, and business cases tailored to customer needs.</li><li>Leverage in-depth product and application knowledge to support complex technical discussions.</li><li>Collaborate with internal technical experts as needed to ensure robust and competitive solutions.</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Internal Alignment<ul><li>Work closely with the Regional Service Manager to align priorities, strategy, and forecasts.</li><li>Collaborate with the Sales team &amp; regional agents to ensure alignment between capital equipment sales and service opportunities.</li><li>Coordinate with service delivery teams to ensure sold solutions are feasible, well-defined, and successfully executed.</li><li>Provide regular updates on pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for service-related commercial discussions within the region.</li></ul>
