Position DetailsWe are seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of our human resources practices and processes and to support the needs of our team members as they continue growing our positive impact on the economy and ecology of the Appalachian region. The Human Resources Manager will work with the operations and management teams to foster a vibrant, inclusive employee experience that supports the holistic well-being of our staff. In support of this goal, the position will oversee our HR policies and procedures, training and development, recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits administration, retention, and performance evaluation. The Human Resource Manager will report to the Director of Finance and Operations, and work closely with team members at all levels of the organization.  LocationThe HR Manager may work out of one of the organization’s four offices in Boone, North Carolina, Charlottesville and Norton, Virginia, and Knoxville, Tennessee, or remotely in our region. If working remotely, the candidate should reside in, or willing to move to, one of the following states: Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, District of Columbia, Virginia, or West Virginia.
