As an Operational Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Your responsibilities will include management of procure-to-pay process and optimizing our operational procurement strategies: <h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Efficiently track and manage orders to guarantee timely delivery and maintain operational flow. </li></ul><ul><li>Accurately input order details, including vendor information, quantities, and prices, into our internal databases. </li><li>Keep records of purchased products, delivery details, and invoices to facilitate seamless procurement processes. </li><li>Generate insightful reports on purchases, incorporating thorough cost analyses for informed decision-making. </li><li>Proactively monitor stock levels and initiate timely orders to sustain uninterrupted operations. </li><li>Evaluate and uphold the quality of procured products. </li><li>Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate proper storage and distribution of acquired goods. </li><li>Take the lead in resolving material shortage situations and critical parts supply .</li><li>Contribute to improvements in the procure-to-pay process.</li><li>Maintain and develop operational relationship with vendors. </li><li>Research potential vendors to enhance our supplier network. </li><li>Analyse and assess compelling offers from suppliers to ensure optimal value for the organization. </li></ul>Requirements<ul> <li>Bachelor in Logistics, Business Administration or another relevant field </li> <li>Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or a similar role related to vendor or purchase order processing </li> <li>Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices &amp; vendor delivery performance management  </li> <li>Solid knowledge of international transport and Logistics Management for various freight modes (road, rail, sea, air) </li> <li>Hands-on experience with an ERP system </li> <li>Understanding of supply chain processes </li> <li>Negotiation &amp; problem solving skills </li> <li>Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses </li> </ul>BenefitsAt Smappee we believe in a modern and dynamic work environment where you can be yourself and truly inspire people to contribute to a better planet.
