Position Title: Analyst/Program Associate, Sustainability ServicesLocation: VA Office or US HybridDepartment: Environment and ClimateUnit: Sustainability Services POSITION SUMMARYThe Analyst will support projects in the sphere of ecosystem evaluation, deforestation, carbon accounting, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. The Analyst performs administrative and project coordination tasks, does technical analysis, conducts desk research, and prepares external reports for clients. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES<ol><li>Conduct or contribute to qualitative analyses in support of technical deliverables.</li><li>Gather accurate, credible information on a subject and summarize the findings in support of technical deliverables.</li><li>Draft and support the completion of program communication products.</li><li>Review, edit and format technical reports and deliverables and ensure compliant uploads to donor repositories.</li><li>Input information into relevant databases and project trackers, support monitoring and evaluation processes, and link project data with required client reporting.</li><li>Assist organizing and coordination internal and external meetings, record meeting minutes, and ensure follow-up of next steps.</li><li>Provide ongoing support in monitoring, tracking, and troubleshooting program implementation.</li><li>Coordinate compliance with Winrock’s policies, procedures and contractual obligations for procurement, subcontracts, HR, consultants’ agreements, financial transactions (including client invoicing and consultant reimbursements), project closeout, or any other project management task.</li><li>Supporting project leads on internal and external client communications as directed.</li><li>Budget management support: Update project budgets and monitor spending levels as directed.</li><li>Prepare and disseminate routine internal coordination reports documenting programmatic activities’ and administrative/operational/financial tasks’ status and action points.</li><li>Tracking spending across multiple projects for Sustainability Services.</li><li>Compile or prepare documentation for consultant agreements, partner agreements, and procurements.</li><li>Manage logistics for events such as project presentations, team retreats, meetings and conferences, and other outreach efforts.</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned.</li></ol>Position-Specific Skills:<ul><li>Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Comfortable working in a flexible, high-paced environment and able to work well in teams and independently.</li><li>Ability to contribute to project operations and workflow effectively, to track and meet deadlines for multiple tasks, and work effectively under pressure.</li><li>Strong time management and organizational abilities.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities required.</li><li>Able to communicate in a clear, professional, and positive manner with a variety of team members and various stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment with respect for diversity.</li><li>Interest in contributing to technical innovation in climate change mitigation and adaptation, natural resource management, and biodiversity conservation.</li><li>Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel.</li><li>Fluent in English, fluency in other language is a plus.</li></ul> POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s degree required.  Experience: 1 year minimum of professional work experience, preferably in the environmental sustainability field  Language: English professional-level oral and written fluency required.  Required Travel: Up to 10% travel, domestic and internationally. <div>The salary range for this role is between $53,000-$62,000 for this role.
