This position provides advanced technical support, mentors junior staff, and contributes to process improvement and technology adoption. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.  <h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems. </li> <li>Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact incidents. </li> <li>Mentor and guide junior IT support staff, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. </li> <li>Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with ERMCO’s technology standards and security posture. </li> <li>Manage and optimize documentation and reporting. </li> <li>Support and maintain enterprise-level systems including Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management tools. </li> <li>Assist in the deployment and support of Nutanix-based infrastructure and Hycu backup solutions. </li> <li>Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts. </li> <li>Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user guides. </li> <li>Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards. </li> <li>Provide input into technology selection and process improvement initiatives. </li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or 8 years of experience.</li> <li>4–6 years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with increasing responsibility.</li> <li>Advanced troubleshooting skills across operating systems, applications, and network environments.</li> <li>Experience with Nutanix, Hycu, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management platforms.</li> <li>Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN).</li> <li>Familiarity with ITIL practices and help desk management systems.</li> <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li> <li>Ability to lead initiatives and work independently or collaboratively.</li> <li>Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.</li> <li>Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent are preferred.</li></ul>Join ERMCO and TRANSFORM your career!
