The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, team player, skilled writer, and has prior experience in marketing. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and they are ready and excited to learn about new technologies and products.<h2>Core duties</h2><ul><li>Content Creation: Write high-quality, original content for website pages, blogs, video scripts, email campaigns, social media, case studies, and white papers.&nbsp;</li><li>Strategy Support: Assist DG+ colleagues and senior staff in developing marketing strategies to build brands, grow awareness, and impact lead generation.</li><li>Client Support: Communicate regularly with clients, internal project team members, and external parties. Participate in virtual meetings with clients and DG+ employees to discuss strategy, deliverables, deadlines, and other project-related activities.</li><li>Reporting: Compile and analyze key data related to communications (website traffic, social media metrics, earned media mentions, trends, future opportunities).</li><li>Work Environment: Maintain a clean, safe home office work environment.&nbsp;</li></ul><h2>Minimum qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or a related field.</li><li>2+ years of work experience, with some direct experience in clean energy, climate tech, or sustainability.</li><li>Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of various types of content.</li><li>A passion for (or strong interest in) sustainability and growing the clean energy economy.</li><li>Professional attitude and ability to demonstrate the highest values and professionalism, such as through courteous and professional correspondence, following brand standards for both design and writing, and timely communication.</li></ul><h2>Preferred qualifications</h2><ul><li>Proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and experience using SEO tools, such as Semrush.</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to track and analyze website and social media metrics using Google Analytics and other tools.</li><li>Experience in social media platforms and social media management tools.</li></ul><h2>Compensation</h2>Compensation for this position starts at $30/hour and is commensurate with experience.&nbsp;To apply, please send your resume, a cover letter, and two writing samples via the link provided.
