You will work closely with SVP Finance &amp; Accounting on financial reporting, budget and forecasting, and project accounting oversight. You will coordinate ongoing compliance with internal controls and statutory reporting and tax requirements. You will also coordinate with the company’s outsourced tax advisors, external auditors, banks and insurance companies. An ideal candidate should have previous experience working in financial reporting roles in fast growing organizations. </span></div><br><br><h3>Your Mission:</h3><ul><li>Assist SVP, Finance and Director, Finance &amp; Accounting in monthly GL close and consolidation of the Australian subsidiary.</li><li>Prepare monthly financial statements and be responsible for GL maintenance for the Australian subsidiary.</li><li>Overseen local statutory reporting, compliance, and Australian entity going concern.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors and ensure compliance with GST, payroll and income tax regulations.</li><li>Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and payment calendar.</li><li>Coordinate with Project Delivery and Project Accounting teams on project costs tracking</li><li>Coordinate with Procurement team on purchase order review and status.</li><li>Coordinate with People (HR) team on payroll.</li><li>Prepare weekly pacing report including cash and AP status.</li><li>Maintain SOX404 compliance for Australian entity and implement company policies and internal controls.</li><li>Maintain local banking and insurance relationships and resolve issues as they arise. </li><li>Maintain and update bond and letter of credit listings and provide assistance with the company’s bond portfolio. </li><li>Participate in budget planning.</li><li>Assist SVP, Finance with monthly rolling forecast and management reports.</li><li>Assist SVP, Finance and CFO with financial modeling for business development and other ad hoc analysis as needed.</li><li>Assist business leaders in Australian entity to prepare proforma and financial analysis on new business initiatives and projects.</li><li>Work in cross functional capacity to provide accounting and finance support for Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, Project Management, and Sales departments.</li><li>Shape a culture of collaboration, innovation, constant improvement, excellence, transparency, open mindedness, humility, integrity, efficiency, joy, compassion, and fulfillment. Energy Vault SA offers an energy storage technology utilizing fundamental principles of science to deliver a storage solution that's as compassionate to the planet as it is efficient to build and operate. The Energy Vault solution utilizes the same fundamentals of physics and kinetic energy as pumped hydro but replaces the water with custom made cylindrical blocks utilizing an extremely innovative use of low-cost materials. The system is modular and can be designed with a capacity of between 10 and 35MWh and a power output of up to 5MW. The system has been designed for a 30+ year life with no degradation in storage capacity.
