We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>The Electrical Engineering Team at Archer is seeking a Senior Electrical Integration Engineer to lead the integration and testing of powertrain electrical systems, focusing on power electronics, battery management systems, dynamometers, and actuators.What You’ll Do<ul><li>Lead electrical integration of inverters/converters, BMS, actuators, and HV/LV distribution systems.</li><li>Design and validate junction boxes including busbars, IGBT modules, solid-state relays, contactors, fusing, and high-current connectors.</li><li>Integrate and commission dynamometer test systems including instrumentation, power supplies, cooling, and data acquisition.</li><li>Decompose operational profiles into power requirements and validate electrical performance through rigorous testing.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex high-power electrical issues hands-on with junction boxes, BMS, dynos, and power distribution systems.</li><li>Develop test automation scripts and tools to streamline integration testing and data analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with power electronics, BMS, software, mechanical, and thermal teams to resolve integration challenges.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety and certification standards for high-voltage aviation systems.</li></ul>What You Need<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in high-power electrical system integration.</li><li>Strong experience integrating inverters/converters, BMS, and high-voltage distribution.</li><li>Deep understanding of junction box design including busbars, IGBT modules, solid-state relays, and high-current connectors.</li><li>Hands-on experience with dynamometer testing and performance validation of electric powertrains.</li><li>Experience with high-voltage safety architectures.</li><li>Experience with software automation tools for test scripting and data acquisition (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for high-power electrical systems.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul>Bonus Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with aerospace or automotive high-voltage integration and certification standards such as DO-160 or ISO 26262.</li><li>Familiarity with IGBT gate drivers, solid-state relay control, and power switching topologies.</li><li>Experience with CAD tools for electrical layout and harness design.</li><li>Passion for aviation and electric propulsion.</li></ul> At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent with the skills and leadership needed to grow our business.
