We are backed by strategic investment and product partners such as TDK Ventures and Eclipse Ventures.  We are a team of engineers, operators, entrepreneurs, and partners driven by a shared ambition to set the new performance standard for renewable energy and grid resilience.  About the Role Peak Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Analyst to support domestic and international logistics operations for energy storage systems (ESS) and equipment. This role is responsible for execution-level logistics coordination, shipment visibility, and cross-functional support to ensure on-time, compliant, and cost-effective delivery to customers and internal sites.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with international freight, U.S. domestic transportation, customs clearance, and warehouse coordination, and thrives in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.  Key Responsibilities  Logistics Execution &amp; Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate international and domestic shipments (ocean, air, truck, rail) for inbound and outbound cargo.</li><li>Work with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses to ensure smooth shipment execution.</li><li>Analyze shipment costs across modes, lanes, and service providers to identify savings and optimize spend.</li><li>Track shipments end-to-end and proactively resolve delays, damages, or exceptions.</li><li>Prepare and verify shipping documents (commercial invoice, packing list, B/L, AWB, ISF, 7501, etc.).</li></ul> Import / Export &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Support U.S. import and export activities in compliance with Customs, DOT, FMC, and other regulations.</li><li>Assist with customs clearance, tariff classification (HTS), and duty/tax coordination.</li><li>Ensure compliance with battery, hazardous material, and DG shipping requirements when applicable.</li><li>Maintain accurate logistics and compliance records.</li></ul> Warehouse &amp; Inventory Support<ul><li>Coordinate inbound and outbound movements with 3PL warehouses.</li><li>Support inventory receiving, shipment scheduling, and issue resolution.</li><li>Work closely with internal teams to align shipping plans with production and customer delivery requirements.</li></ul> Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and finance teams to support order fulfillment.</li><li>Provide logistics status updates and support customer delivery commitments.</li><li>Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for cost, lead time, and OTIF performance.</li></ul> Required Qualifications Experience<ul><li>2–4 years of hands-on experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.</li><li>Experience with international shipping (China–U.S. or global lanes preferred).</li><li>Familiarity with U.S. import/export processes and logistics documentation.</li><li>Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and 3PL warehouses.</li></ul> Skills<ul><li>Bilingual (English / Mandarin) is required.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and execution discipline.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with Excel and Power BI.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in ESS, battery, automotive, or manufacturing industries.</li><li>Familiarity with battery logistics, hazardous materials, or oversized cargo.</li><li>Knowledge of ERP or logistics systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or TMS).</li></ul> The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $135,000, with actual pay varying based on work location, experience, and skills.
