We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway.Main purpose of the positionCurrently we are looking for an Operations &amp; Maintenance Manager in Kenhardt, South Africa to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Operations &amp; Maintenance Manager (Power Production) you will be responsible to manage the Operations and Maintenance activities of the fully dispatchable electricity generation Project in Kenhardt, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. To ensure the health and safety of all people and equipment under his/her control, whilst ensuring maximum possible energy production at all times.Main Responsibilities<ul> <li>Adhere to company policies and procedures</li> <li>Any ad hoc task that may arise at request from Management this may include the need to assist Technical teams </li> <li>Manage the Operations and Maintenance of all Solar PV Plants including the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) under his/her control</li> <li>Manage and take responsibility for Plant Safety in all aspects including legal appointments as required by law at all Plants under his/her control</li> <li>Help build a sound Safety and Quality Culture within O&amp;M</li> <li>Manage all O&amp;M staff under his/her control</li> <li>Develop a good working environment and build a motivated O&amp;M team</li> <li>Manage the O&amp;M HR function and support the plant managers/supervisors with HR functions</li> <li>Manage training and development needs of Plant personnel</li> <li>Accept and implement the relevant legal appointments in terms of the OHS Act or equivalent regulations and legislation</li> <li>Visit and audit the functioning of all Solar PV plants under his/her control</li> <li>Implement the integrated resourcing strategy for all Plants under his/her control</li> <li>Analysis and reduction of equipment downtime across all Plants under his/her control</li> <li>Drive the effective management of warranty &amp; insurance claims</li> <li>Drive and ensure the resolution of nonconformance and issues</li> <li>Manage the effective handover of new Plants under his/her control</li> <li>Manage the implementation of the O&amp;M functions at new Plants</li> <li>Ensure sound O&amp;M administration and document management</li> <li>Communicate effectively with other departments, external contractors and management</li> <li>Manage all related stakeholders – internal and external</li> <li>Communicate company values and objectives</li> <li>Manage O&amp;M quality programs and drive continuous improvement across all Plants under his/her control</li> <li>Manage the standardised O&amp;M processes &amp; procedures</li> <li>Manage the organisational standardised HSSEQ system across all Solar PV Plants (incl. BESS) under his/her control</li> <li>Manage the organisational standardised Permit to Work system across all Plants (incl. BESS) under his/her control</li> <li>Manage the organisational HV/MV operating regulations and plant safety regulations across all Plants (incl.
