This position is responsible for the coordination of drivers and containers to maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all customers</li><li>3 years of Dispatch experience preferred</li><li>We are looking for someone with great phone skills, communication skills, and a customer service attitude</li><li>The dispatcher must have the ability to multi-task and problem solve. </li></ul><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> </p><ul><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. </li><li>Assign routes to drivers daily and also for the upcoming day. </li><li>Handle and field incoming calls and emails from customers and sales departments; manage requests for pick-up or delivery while ensuring adequate service response. </li><li>Coordinate driver movement in the field with customer service requests with the goal of optimizing service efficiency throughout the day. </li><li>Initiate outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolve pick-up and other issues. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues. Relay any service issues to Management. </li><li>Record and document information from Drivers and distribute to the appropriate departments. </li><li>All Dispatchers must be able to effectively communicate and transition the dispatch responsibilities to the next Dispatch person or shift. </li><li>Document all safety related accidents/incidents with the respective driver for the safety department. </li><li>Keep ongoing communication with management, safety, billing and maintenance teams</li><li>Check in drivers, close routes, and handle any follow-up driver or customer issues.  </li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li> The requirements below are necessary to perform the job. </li><li>Education: High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>3 years dispatch preferred. </li><li>Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations. </li><li>Professional, courteous and cooperative with customers and co-workers. </li><li>Good time management skills and follow through to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and timely manner. </li><li>Ability to adhere to company policies and rules set forth; promotes the company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks. </li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong> </p><p>Dispatcher will be located inside the office at 2401 S.
